Polyvore is kind of like online fashion scrapbooking...not that I have ever been into scrapbooking but if I was, I could imagine that it is something similar. The difference is that it is just a whole lot cooler than a bad collage of pictorial memories from your end of school formal. You know what I am talking about, the best example of all that was bad about 80's or 90's fashion. Funny how you always think that you look SO hot at your school formal only to realise years later that it was probably one of your most forgetable fashion moments, not helped along by your date's braces creating a bad flash overexposure in every image.
